VISION: At its core, WINK (Westcoast International Networking Klub) is about building bridges—connecting business professionals and fans across borders. By embracing the spirit of soccer and international camaraderie, WINK members take the next step to become WISE (Westcoast International Soccer Enthusiasts). This transformation happens when members channel their networking energy into organizing and participating in soccer-related events, fostering cultural exchange, and celebrating the global game together.
Becoming WISE means that WINK isn’t just about business—it’s about passion, shared experiences, and community. Members use their professional skills and networks to support soccer meetups, fan gatherings, and international events, especially during major tournaments like the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Through this evolution, WINK members become WISE by uniting their love for soccer with their drive for connection, making the club a hub for both business and soccer enthusiasts who want to make a real impact—locally and globally.

Whether you are an entrepreneur seeking global expansion, a seasoned business leader looking for fresh perspectives, or a newcomer eager to tap into the expertise of industry veterans, the Westcoast International Business Club offers a dynamic space for knowledge exchange and mutual growth. Join us as we bridge the gap between Europe and Western Canada, unlocking new possibilities and forging meaningful connections in the ever-evolving landscape of international business.
We Are Looking for Members from Germany!
The Why:
More than 1000 bilateral collaborations have been established between German and Canadian research and intermediary organizations, universities and the private sector since the signing of the German-Canadian Intergovernmental Agreement on Scientific and Technological Cooperation in 1971.
Auswärtiges Amt
This membership-driven organization will start in Vancouver and work out from there, eventually expanding to German-speaking parts of Europe, such as Austria, Switzerland, Luxembourg etc. The idea is to promote each other and to learn strategies and tips on how to expand our business reach. By beginning in Vancouver, we establish a strong foundation rooted in the vibrant business community of Western Canada, leveraging local expertise and resources to support our members’ growth.
We are also reaching out to Toronto and Montreal, as there is a strong German-speaking presence in each of these two provinces. Contact Elke Porter at 604 828 8788 (text/talk) if you have any questions.
